Anthony Edwards Flipped Out Over Michael Jordan Showing Up At His Hornets Workout

Earlier this year, potential number one pick Anthony Edwards revealed that he thinks Kevin Durant is already the greatest basketball player of all-time.

Edwards initially called Durant ‘the greatest player’ during an interview with Taylor Rooks of Bleacher Report. When he was then questioned if he was thinking ‘ever’ or ‘right now’, Edwards picked the former, claiming that Durant is above both Michael Jordan and LeBron James.

This though, apparently does not mean that Edwards wasn’t star-struck when meeting Jordan for the first time. When the six-time champion showed up during his pre-draft workout for the Charlotte Hornets, the rookie-to-be admitted he was in awe after seeing the Hornets owner in person.

“It was crazy that he came to the gym. It was just shocking! It was like, ‘That’s crazy, that’s Michael Jordan!’”
