Mychal Thompson Defends Charles Barkley From ‘Lack Of Ring’ Criticism: “Please Stop Saying He Never Won A Championship”
It is commonly known that Hall of Famer and TNT analyst Charles Barkley is one of the best power forwards to ever play the game of basketball. His insane rebounding, scoring prowess, as well as his ability to pass as an undersized power forward had made him a matchup nightmare back in his heyday.
However, despite his well-rounded talent and decorated NBA-career, Barkley has been accustomed to several criticisms. One criticism that always stands out is his failure to capture an NBA championship after playing for three NBA teams throughout his long career.
While Chuck is used to getting this same old criticism, that he even made a humor of himself as ‘Championship Chuck’, former Lakers big man and Klay Thompson’s father, Mychal Thompson called it ‘enough’ and exclaimed why fans should put an end to this ‘lack of ring’ criticism.
OK…ENUFF IS ENUFF…Time for me to defend Charles Barkley. Please stop saying he never won a Championship. Charles is a TWO TIME…OLYMPIC CHAMPION. Uhhh,THAT COUNTS, people… Ask ANYBODY who has an OLYMPIC Gold medal. CHAMPION! OLYMPIC CHAMPION. THAT counts!
