Stephen Curry Reacts To Rumor About Him Allegedly Tearing Drake’s ACL In A Pickup Game

While it’s still the offseason, it’s not new for NBA players to take some dust off and put together a pickup game involving different athletes throughout the country and sometimes even popular public figures who are initially known for a different craft.

Recently, a video of Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry and Toronto-based rapper Drake appeared on social media. The two icons were seen in the same gym, working out and routinely putting up some shots together. 

Following the shoot-around, Drake informed fans that he tore his ACL for an unknown reason and had to undergo a surgery. This caused fans to speculate that he may have torn his ACL during his pickup game while matching up with the Warriors point guard. Curry did not confirm this rumor, but he did give a cryptic response during an interview with Complex.

“Maybe it might show up in the new album coming out. We’ll see if he drops a lyric or a line or something on what actually happened.”
