NBA Twitter Reacts To Russell Westbrook – John Wall Trade
Last night, the NBA landscape got shaken up by a major Woj Bomb.
The Washington Wizards acquired former MVP and nine-time All-Star Russell Westbrook from the Houston Rockets in exchange for five-time All-Star John Wall and a future lottery-protected first round pick.
Both players are now looking to get their career on the right track again. Westbrook after a subpar and sole year with the Houston Rockets, and Wall after a two-year injury absence.
As always with major news like these, NBA Twitter had to react accordingly, and didn’t disappoint.
how i imagine this Westbrook/Wall trade went down:
Wizards: “good luck.”
Rockets: “you too.”— Rob Perez (@WorldWideWob) December 3, 2020
i cannot think of another trade in nba history that felt like such a massive blockbuster and also completely inconsequential at the exact same time
