Gilbert Arenas Compares Giannis To Harden, Says He Needs To Learn How To Play Basketball To Win A Title
Gilbert Arenas was one of these prime-time NBA players in the 2000s. He has been retired from the NBA since 2012, but makes sure his presence is still felt; not as a player, but as a popular voice across various media platforms.
Arenas has lashed out at different athletes throughout his time in front of the camera. Now recently, ‘Agent Zero’ took his time to fire some shots at Giannis Antetokounmpo, during his appearance on the ‘Club Shay Shay’ podcast with broadcaster Shannon Sharpe.
When Arenas was asked on what Giannis needs to do in order to win his much-desired championship, Arenas remained straightforward and exclaimed that he needs to learn how to play basketball, afterwards calling ‘The Greek Freak’ as the ‘James Harden of the Eastern Conference’.
“Learn how to play basketball. To be honest, he’s the James Harden of the [East Coast]…You have a guy who’s not a point guard, who dominates the ball and he’s playing one style,” Arenas responded.
