Damian Lillard Says Russell Westbrook Is His ‘Arch Nemesis’ In The NBA

Damian Lillard has put the whole NBA on notice after putting up extraordinary games inside the Bubble.

The All-Star has gained a ton of recognition, and some argue that he’s already part of the cream of the crop. For many, he’s one of the (way too) early candidates for this coming season’s MVP award.

On the court, the Oakland native is relentless, and not friends with his opponents as long as the game is in play.

When he was asked about his biggest rival in the NBA, he immediately brought up Russell Westbrook, but with the biggest possible respect.

Per an Instagram Live with Fat Joe:

“If I had to say I had an arch nemesis, it would probably be Russ, because when me and Russ play, we going after each other. It’s been that way every time we’ve played since I’ve been in the NBA. Eight straight years of just me and him going at each other.”
