GMs Are Scared Of Trading For James Harden Because Of His Off Court Activities, Per Kendrick Perkins

James Harden has a reputation for going out to strip clubs and partying all night. There have been reports that Harden would even travel to Las Vegas if the Rockets have several off days in between games. While Harden’s nightlife habits don’t necessarily impact his game, his activities are now becoming questionable for people around the league.

It’s no secret that Harden wants out of Houston and has an expanded list of his preferred trade destinations. Perhaps, this explains why the Rockets superstar has been a no-show at their training camps and is seemingly breaking the league’s safety and health protocols.

Over the summer, there have been several teams which are reportedly in talks with the Rockets in trading for Harden, but none have pull through so far. Now, retired NBA big man Kendrick Perkins is reporting that he has heard that multiple GMs are scared of trading for Harden because of his off court activities.

“If you’re trying to get moved, then you have to be a professional. Not only do the Rockets have the keys and they don’t have to trade you, but it’s a turnoff for other organizations.

“I have been hearing from multiple GMs that they are scared of trading for James Harden and it has nothing to do what he does on the court but it’s his activities off the court and they are saying that if they trade him that he’s going to be a bad example in the locker room because of things like this.”
