Mitchell Robinson Says It Wasn’t Hard Guarding Nikola Jokic After Loss Against The Nuggets
Nikola Jokic has been nearly unstoppable so far this season. The Nuggets big man is averaging 24.4 points, 11.2 rebounds and 10.4 assists per game on 58.7% shooting from the field through their first 10 games.
On Sunday, the Nuggets superstar was matched up against Mitchell Robinson, who continuous to grow as a defensive anchor for the New York Knicks. But that was not much of an issue for Jokic, as he posted a double-double with 22 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists on 60% shooting in a blowout win against the Knicks.
After the game, Robinson gave his take on what was it like guarding the Nuggets big man. Despite what the stats say, the Knicks defensive center felt like it wasn’t hard guarding Jokic at all.
“I was there on every move he did. He just made tough shots. I felt like it wasn’t hard at all.”
Mitchell Robinson said he had no problems guarding Jokic:
"I was there on every move he did. He just made tough shots. I felt like it wasn’t hard at all."
