LeBron James Calls Out Referee’s Double Standard Over Draymond Green’s Uncalled Travel
After holding a 16-point lead in the first half, LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers couldn’t close out the game and lost to a score of 113-115 against the Golden State Warriors on Monday.
LeBron had his one of the worst games of the season with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists on 6/16 shooting. To make it worse, LeBron recorded five turnovers throughout the whole game – two of it being traveling violations that were called in the last four minutes of the fourth quarter.
Ironically, Draymond Green seemingly got away with one during the last two minutes of the game which ultimately led to a bucket, giving the Dubs a 4-point lead. After the game, LeBron reacted and mentioned that it was funny he was called for a travel when Draymond wasn’t.
“I saw them on the replays, and that’s a move I’ve been making my whole career… It’s so funny because the very next play Draymond gets into the lane, slides his foot and it’s not called, and the same official who called me for the travel is right there on the play and told me he didn’t travel.”
