Kevin Durant Speaks Highly Of Harden & Irving After Loss Against The Cavs: “It Felt Perfect”
With Kyrie Irving coming back to join Kevin Durant and James Harden, the Brooklyn Nets entered Wednesday’s game with all eyes set on them. Unfortunately for them, Collin Sexton spoiled the first game of the Big 3 with a dominant 40-point game.
Sexton recorded 42 points, added 5 rebounds and 5 assists on 55.2% shooting in a double-overtime thriller against the new-look Nets. On the other hand, Durant led all Nets scorers with 38 points, followed by Irving with 37 points. Harden, meanwhile, showcased his all-around game, dropping a triple-double with 21 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists.
Although Sexton and the Cavs spoiled their awaited debut, Kevin Durant appeared to have no worries at all and still spoke highly of their ‘Big 3’ during a post-game interview.
“It felt right. It felt perfect. It felt like we belong together; like this journey together is going to be fun. Tough first start, it was an up and down game for us but I like where we are.”
