Andrew Bogut Reveals That Stephen Curry Checks His Twitter Mentions At Halftime When Having A Bad Game

During their first title run in 2015, the Golden State Warriors’ best defender was Andrew Bogut.

More so, Bogut would have had the chance to go down as one of the best defenders in league history, if he didn’t have such bad luck with injuries.

But even when the Australian left the Bay Area, he still had an on-court presence, through Draymond Green, whom he mentored and who took over his duties as defensive anchor.

After finishing his career in his home country these past seasons, Bogut announced his retirement this past December.

In the most recent episode of his Rogue Bouges podcast, Bogut revealed a funny story about his former teammate, Stephen Curry.

According to the Aussie, Curry went on Twitter at halftime, when he was having bad games, to check his mentions and see what people are saying, using it as fuel for the second half.

“He’ll check his mentions at halftime, when he has a bad half. It’s the craziest sh*t I ever saw. Yeah, Steph, if he had a bad half, he would go on social media and then come out and drop 30 [in the second half].”
