Karl-Anthony Towns Reveals He Was Hit By Drunk Driver & Hospitalized This Past Offseason

This past year was nothing short of disastrous for Karl-Anthony Towns.

The All-Star has lost his mother and five other family members to Covid-19, and found himself testing positive for the virus just recently.

Additionally, Towns now revealed that he was hit by a drunk driver in Los Angeles during this past offseason, which even led to him being hospitalized. 

Per TMZ Sports:

“My woman has held me down more than the world knows. From my mother and family members dying, getting hit by a drunk driver in LA this off-season and staying with me in the hospital for the night and helping me in rehab.”
