Ben Simmons Believes He’s The Best Defender In The NBA

Despite losing to the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday, Philadelphia 76ers two-time All-Star Ben Simmons still shined and earned more reputation after putting up a terrific defensive outing.

Simmons willingly took the challenge of guarding Damian Lillard, who is one of the top scorers in the league. While Lillard recorded 30 points, he had no easy baskets and was held to just six out of 21 shots throughout the whole game.

As Simmons put the observers on notice, he later declared that he’s the best defender in the NBA.

Per The Athletic:

“But most of the time I feel like I’m doing a good job and making the right plays. I feel like I’m the best defender in the NBA,” said Simmons.
