Rudy Gobert After Utah’s Loss Vs Wizards: “We Have To Realize We Haven’t Accomplished Sh*t”
About a month ago, the Utah Jazz looked like the NBA’s best team this season. The team was on an absolute tear, winning 10 of 11 games, leading to a league leading record of 25-6.
While the Jazz still lead the West, they’ve only managed to go 4-5 since then, and after last night’s loss against the Washington Wizards, Rudy Gobert told his team that respect must be earned, and that they can’t just cruise because they haven’t accomplished anything yet.
“We have to realize we haven’t accomplished sh*t. We get upset when people laugh at us on TV and disrespect us but it’s on us to have respect for ourselves and understand that we’re not the not the champions. We are not a team that can just cruise.”
