Anthony Edwards’ Incredibly Hilarious Interview About Alex Rodriguez And Jennifer Lopez

Last week, it was revealed that baseball legend Alex Rodriguez and billionaire Marc Lore are going to become the new owners of the Minnesota Timberwolves.

While most of the Timberwolves players were looking forward to the franchises’ new and famous ownership, rookie of the year candidate Anthony Edwards, who’s quickly becoming a favorite among fans, didn’t even know who Alex Rodriguez is.

Him not knowing about A-Rod now led to a hilarious interview with GQ. In the interview, Edwards found out that Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez are no longer dating, which disappointed him.

GQ: So…you really don’t know who A-Rod is, huh?

Anthony Edwards: Well…I do now!

GQ: What made you change that?

Anthony Edwards: Everybody was texting me, tellin’ me ‘bout it, that’s it, forreal.

GQ: What did you learn in the last few days about the dude who might own your team?

Anthony Edwards: They told me he’s a Hall of Famer. Somebody told me he’s like the Michael Jordan of baseball.

GQ: I feel like that’s a stretch.

Anthony Edwards: Oh.

GQ: You didn’t watch any games or highlights to verify that with your own eyes?

Anthony Edwards: Nah, I ain’t watch none, nah. I know he date J-Lo [Jennifer Lopez], though!

GQ: He does not.

Anthony Edwards: What?

GQ: He used to date J-Lo, but they just broke up.

Anthony Edwards: Damn!

GQ: You look like you’re disappointed.

Anthony Edwards: Yeah, I am.

GQ: Any reason?

Anthony Edwards: He gonna be my owner, I want him to be happy.

GQ: You think he’s gonna be happier with J-Lo?

Anthony Edwards: Yeah!!
