Bradley Beal Hated To See Michael Jordan Play For The Washington Wizards
Michael Jordan’s picture perfect career basically ended in a picture perfect way – ‘The Last Shot’!
But it was Jordan himself who didn’t let this happy ending happen when he decided to come back a second time and sign a contract with the Washington Wizards in 2001.
While Jordan still was the best player on the court in many of his 142 games with the Wizards, the relatively weak supporting cast didn’t allow Jordan to reach the playoffs once more, before retiring for good in 2003.
Today’s Washington Wizards currently are on an eight game win streak for the first time since they were Jordan-led. When Bradley Beal was confronted with this stat, he revealed he hated that Jordan came back to play for the Wizards.
“I hated that he came back and played because I always wanted him to be, no offense D.C., I always wanted him to be a Bull for life.”
Bradlley Beal when told Michael Jordan was on the Wizards the last time they won 8 straight: "Damn."
