Kevin Durant And Mike Conley Join Kobe Bryant As Oscar Winners From The NBA
Three years ago, Kobe Bryant became the first NBA player to win an Oscar, after his poem, ‘Dear Basketball’ that was made into a short film, won the Academy Award.
While Kevin Durant doesn’t have the five rings Kobe collected over the course of his career yet, he now also is a proud winner of an Oscar trophy. Alongside fellow All-Star Mike Conley, Durant and his business manager Rich Kleiman were executive producers “Two Distant Strangers”.
The film won the Academy Award for Best Live-Action Short Film, and they’ll therefore join Kobe Bryant as Oscar winners from the NBA.
