Robert Horry Graduates From Alabama 29 Years After Leaving For The NBA

Robert Horry had the best imaginable career for a role player in the NBA. In his 16 seasons, Horry won the NBA Championship seven times.

He won two rings with the Houston Rockets, three with the Los Angeles Lakers and two with the San Antonio Spurs towards the end of his career. Only six players in NBA history have won more rings than him, but there certainly were more than six players who were better than him.

Before his amazing NBA career, Horry played college ball for the Crimson Tide from 1989-92. Now, 29 years after leaving for the NBA, he’s officially earned his bachelor’s degree in human environmental sciences from Alabama this past weekend.

It never is too late! Congrats Big Shot Rob!
