Anthony Davis Praises Kevin Durant, Calls Him ‘Toughest Player To Guard In NBA’
Before Kevin Durant took the court this season, we hadn’t seen him play since the 2019 NBA Finals, when he hobbled off the field with a torn achilles.
Durant’s rehab thankfully was a success and the forward hasn’t lost a step. Durant simply looks like his old-dominating-self.
The two-time Finals MVP is as tall as a center, yet is able to dribble the ball like a guard, which makes him an absolute matchup nightmare at every position. In addition to this, Durant has the ability to shoot from anywhere on the court while maintaining high-efficiency numbers.
All things considered, this is why it’s becoming more common that a lot of people are coming up and appointing the 4-time scoring champion as the greatest scorer to ever play the game.
During an AMA on reddit, Lakers big man Anthony Davis now praised Durant, calling him the toughest player to guard in the league.
Q: “Who’s the toughest player to guard in the NBA?”
Davis: “KD. 6’11, can do it all from anywhere on the floor. I’ve won some battles, he’s won some battles, but having to guard him is just tough.”
