Ty Lue Pinpoints Paul George And Kawhi Leonard’s Similarities With Kobe Bryant
Tyronn Lue was little more than a role player during his playing days, but he still is proud owner of two championship rings with the Los Angeles Lakers and was lucky enough to play with some of the game’s greatest players of all-time. One of which was Kobe Bryant.
Having to observe the Los Angeles Lakers legend from up-close, Ty Lue, who currently serves as the head coach for the Los Angeles Clippers who are bannered by two talented players in Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, now revealed that there are certain similarities between his two Clippers stars and Kobe.
“I think with Kawhi, just the mid range. With PG just the build and athleticism… Couple things are the same, but there’s a lot of differences as well.”

Kawhi Leonard has been phenomenal this season, averaging 25.0 points, 6.6 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game on 51.6% shooting. Paul George, on the other hand, has averages of 23.6 points, 6.6 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game on 47.3% shooting from the field.
The Los Angeles Clippers are looking increasingly fierce and have netted a reputation as one of this year’s legitimate title contenders. The team appears to be playoff-ready, but it’s always up to Kawhi Leonard and Paul George to direct the team for a playoff redemption.
