Chris Webber Has Been Released By TNT

Many NBA fans are under the impression that as good of a player Chris Webber was, as bad of a commentator he is now.

But these fans will now look towards the playoffs a little more excited, as Chris Webber and TNT have agreed to part ways Thursday on the eve of the NBA playoffs.

Webber was with TNT since 2008, but after cancelling his NCAA bubble participation this year on very, very short notice, leaving TNT under pressure to find a replacement, they were looking to cut him sooner than later.

Webber’s long time broadcasting partner, commentator legend Marv Albert is rumored to call it a career after these playoffs, too.
