Paul George Is Looking To Redeem Himself This Postseason – Hints ‘Playoff P’ Comeback
Paul George and the Los Angeles Clippers have a lot to prove this postseason, bearing in mind that they became the laughing stock of the league after they blew a 3-1 lead against the Denver Nuggets who sent them home in the second round of the NBA playoffs last season.
Much has been said about George’s performance for the Clippers last season. The Clippers star failed to meet expectations and kept coming up short on multiple occasions in both the regular season and the playoffs. His struggles were made fun of and earned him the moniker of ‘Pandemic P’.
According to George himself, this is far behind him and he’s in a completely different place right now – physically and mentally.
Per ESPN:
“Well I think this year it’s been easier because I have outlets. You know, I’m able to live a normal life. I can go home, I can see my family, I can spend time with my family, I can interact with other people outside of this team. And so that alone has just been a big difference to be back to some normalcy.
It’s a big difference from the bubble life to where I’m at now from a headspace standpoint.”
