LeBron James Offered Reassuring Statement After Early Playoff Exit: “Promise You, I Will”
The Los Angeles Lakers saw their road to a title repeat deteriorate after the Phoenix Suns rolled dominant against them in six games during the first-round of the NBA playoffs.
The Lakers managed to get an early 2-1 lead, but the Suns just had the perfect chance to squash the Lakers, who were missing significant minutes from Anthony Davis.
As a proven winner, LeBron did not back down and took the challenge of carrying the burden and responsibility without his co-star. However, beating the hot-shooting Suns proved to be a hardly possible task for the four-time champion.
Despite an early playoff exit for LeBron and the Lakers, LeBron’s confidence for a redemption remains sky-high. On Instagram, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar posted a clip from the movie ‘Gladiator’, associating it with a powerful and reassuring statement.
“PROMISE YOU I WILL. Count me out if you want too!”
