Draymond Green Throws Shade On Giannis Antetokounmpo For Not Guarding Kevin Durant
You expect nothing less from Giannis Antetokounmpo when it comes to defense. That’s how it should be for a disruptive force who has four All-NBA Defensive Team honors and a Defensive Player of the Year award hanging right off his name.
On Tuesday however, the Milwaukee Bucks superstar has landed himself in hot water for his unwillingness to guard Kevin Durant, who was on a scoring onslaught and finished the night with 49 points, 17 rebounds and 10 assists on 69.6% shooting from the field.
Plenty of fans and observers welcomed criticisms of Giannis including Golden State Warriors big man Draymond Green. On Twitter, Draymond couldn’t help but to react to a tweet of what appears to be a comparison of Draymond and Giannis in terms of defensive mentality.
Marcus Thompson: “No universe exists where Draymond doesn’t demand at least a crack at the hottest dude on the court”
Draymond Green: “That part!!”
That part!! https://t.co/Dh5BFQsfag
