PJ Tucker Calls Kevin Durant The Best Scorer He Has Ever Seen In His Life
PJ Tucker has never been one to shy away from defending the biggest scoring threat on the basketball court. In their second-round series against the Brooklyn Nets, Tucker has embraced the challenge of guarding Kevin Durant.
Guarding Durant is no easy task, so despite Milwaukee’s best resistance, Durant has still gone on a tear and has been averaging 33.3 points, 10.8 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game on 50.3% shooting from the field through six games this series.
As Durant’s primary defender, Tucker has shown willingness to praise the two-time Finals MVP. After their much-needed Game 6 win against the Nets, Tucker appoints Durant as the best scorer that he has ever seen in his life.
“Me and Kevin fight every year…I love guarding him. I enjoy it. He’s the best scorer I’ve ever seen in my life…that’s my brother, we compete, we fight every game, we’re gonna fight again in Game 7.”
