Fat Joe Once Thought Shaquille O’Neal Came To Kill Him

At 7’1″ and over 300 pounds, Shaquille O’Neal’s appearance definitely can be somewhat intimidating to other human beings.

But while we also know that he’s an incredibly warm-hearted and kind person, if you don’t recognize him, you might get scared. That’s at least what happened to rapper Fat Joe once – and that, even though he’s friends with Shaq. He thought Shaq was there to kill him.

“I’m in Miami and I go to the studio. I walk in there one night and it’s pitch black. I’m walking there and there’s a shadow of a human being this big in the dark. And I said ‘Holy sh*t, they came to kill me. This is what people must feel like when they’re about to die. I turn on the light and it’s Shaquille O’Neal. He said ‘they just traded me to the Phoenix, big fella. I wanted you to be the first to know’…”
