Isaiah Thomas, Who Plays For Another NBA Chance, Drops 81 Points In Pro-Am League
Isaiah Thomas was carving himself a spot as one of the best point guards in the NBA before an unfortunate hip injury, that incurred during his last season with the Celtics, altered the remaining years of his career.
In three seasons with the Celtics, Isaiah averaged 24.7 points, 2.7 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game on 44.3% shooting, while garnering two All-Star selections and an All-NBA Second Team honor. He posted his best season in 2017, but nobody pictured that it would’ve been his last elite season, as well as his last season with the Celtics.
Now years after his run with the Celtics came to an end, and after him bouncing around in the league without any success, Thomas is trying to convince another NBA team to give him a shot.
According to himself, he’s finally fully healthy again – something he proved yesterday, when he dropped 81 points in a Pro-Am game.
He already had a 65 piece the other week, but now he even dropped a Kobe on his possible way back to the NBA.
