Damian Lillard Drops Major Hint About His Blazers Future In New Song

Damian Lillard was always considered to be a successor of Dirk, Tim and Kobe – someone to remain with his franchise for the entirety of his career. Dirk’s loyalty and the loyalty Dallas gave back to Dirk is something Damian Lillard always drew inspiration from anyways.

While Lillard hasn’t officially requested a trade from the Portland Trail Blazers yet, they’ve done their best to trigger one in the coming weeks, after striking out in free agency once again by failing to surround Lillard with championship contending talent.

But on his newest single called ‘we the ones’, Lillard could have dropped some hints that he is staying put in Portland after all.

“I’m the kind of man to lead his people

To the promise land (Promise land)

By any means, the hoop rock is not contraband

We come from towels on the counter

Dryin’ pots and pans and if you not the man

Then you support, don’t try to stop the man (Nah)”
