Lakers’ Leaked Jersey For NBA’s 75th Anniversary Season Are A Throwback To Minneapolis Times
When the Lakers franchise was founded in 1947, they were the Minneapolis Lakers.
Initially as a member of the NBL, the Lakers won the 1948 NBL championship before joining the Basketball Association of America. They ended up winning five of the next six championships, led by George Mikan, before relocating to Los Angeles before the 1960–61 season, and after Mikan’s retirement, where they are still located today.
For the NBA’s 75th anniversary season, the Lakers now are throwing things back to their beginnings in Minneapolis.
The purple and ice blue colorway represents the ice cold lakes of Minnesota and I think they jerseys, as well as the other gear with the same colorway like the Air Force 1s look amazing.
