Channing Frye Says There’s Not Enough Balls For The ‘Old Ass’ Lakers Team

The Los Angeles Lakers did not waste any time and quickly became one of the most productive teams in this year’s offseason. Some acquisitions they made include the addition of another star in Russell Westbrook, and a couple of very familiar names in Dwight Howard, Carmelo Anthony and Trevor Ariza.

Despite a busy offseason for the Lakers, it was unfortunately not enough to please plenty of basketball fans and has even led observes to criticize their roster for being too old to actually compete for a championship.

The Lakers now have an average age of 31.8 years, making them the oldest team in the entire league currently. With this being a major discussion around the league, LeBron James’ former teammate and NBA veteran Channing Frye shares his thoughts on the current Lakers roster.

“I love Bron,” said Frye. “I love AD. I like Melo. I like Russell Westbrook. It is 2021. There’s not enough balls to go around.”

“This old-ass team has to make it 82 games to the playoffs,” Frye said.
