Paul Pierce Rants About His ESPN Departure: “You Have To Talk About LeBron All The Time”

Earlier this year, former Celtics star Paul Pierce decided to share a wild party from his house with the world on Instagram live this past weekend. There were drugs and a ton of strippers, and most people already saw the inevitable coming.

And indeed, his bosses over at Disney didn’t feel that his actions are something they’d like to be associated with, so they released Pierce of all his ESPN duties.

Now, about half a year later, Pierce spoke to Sports Illustrated about his ESPN departure, and threw some shade at LeBron James in the process:

“I was done with them, anyway. It wasn’t a great fit. There’s a lot of stuff over there that you can’t say. And you have to talk about LeBron all the time.”
