Spencer Dinwiddie Tried Buying $12M Wizards Jersey Ad Space Patch, But NBA Wouldn’t Let Him
Spencer Dinwiddie has always been one of the most entertaining players on social media. Whether it’s arguing with fans about LeBron James, or just putting out controversial statements in general, following Dinwiddie’s channels is a recommendation.
Dinwiddie also has some of the most unique and great financial ideas in the NBA. For his new contract, Dinwiddie was trying to crowdfund money from fans in order to sign with whatever team they want him to for the veteran’s minimum. It unfortunately didn’t work and Dinwiddie ended up with the Wizards.
There, he had the next great idea. Dinwiddie told reporters at the Wizard’s media day that he wanted to promote his Calaxy App, and attempted to pay for the Wizards’ jersey patch. He was willing to pay the $12 million price tag, but official NBA rules prevented him from doing so.
I can confirm this message. @CalaxyApp would’ve looked so dope on MSE family https://t.co/suxb0MWEKM
