JR Smith Required Medical Attention After Stepping On Beehive During College Golf Tournament
Yes, this might be the most JR Smith headline ever!
Yesterday, we reported that 2-time NBA Champion JR Smith, who took the ‘back to school’ season last month literal and enrolled at North Carolina A&T for a degree in liberal studies, competed in his first collegiate golf tournament.
The NCAA granted him eligibility, and Smith became a member of the Aggies’ golf team.
This first golf tournament however took an unbelievable turn for JR, as he required medical attention after stepping on a beehive.
While playing on the 12th hole, Smith went into the woods to find his ball and then stepped on the beehive. Smith received some treatment from the medical team, but was able to continue playing eventually.
