The Toronto Raptors’ Emotional Homecoming After Over 600 Days

Last year, due to the United States’ handling of COVID-19, travel into Canada was banned, and Canada had also closed its borders for international travel.

This is why 2019’s NBA champion out of Toronto, were not able to play the 2020-21 season in their hometown, and had Tampa, Florida become their temporary home. 

Then last night, after over 600 days, the Toronto Raptors finally returned to Scotiabank Arena and were welcomed back emphatically.
