Scottie Pippen Confirms He’s Incredibly Angry At Michael Jordan After ‘The Last Dance’ Portrayal
After the airing of Netflix and ESPN’s hit documentary, ‘The Last Dance’, a 10-part documentary about Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls, was incredibly successful and talk of the town last year, Scottie Pippen was reported as ‘beyond livid’ with his portrayal. Later reports even revealed that Pippen hasn’t talked to Michael Jordan ever since the start of the documentary.
Pippen now doubled down on his take during an interview with GQ. Pippen revealed it was challenging for him to see Jordan constantly being glorified while he and the other Bulls teammates were not given enough praise for their contributions.
Even in the second episode, which focused for a while on my difficult upbringing and unlikely path to the NBA, the narrative returned to MJ and his determination to win. I was nothing more than a prop. His “best teammate of all time,” he called me. He couldn’t have been more condescending if he tried.
On second thought, I could believe my eyes. I spent a lot of time around the man. I knew what made him tick. How naïve I was to expect anything else.
