Klay Thompson Cleared To Go 100%, Made First 18 Shots In Practice & Scrimmage Game-Winner
After working his way back into form following the torn ACL he suffered during the 2019 NBA Finals, Klay Thompson received new devastating news when an injury he suffered in last year’s offseason turned out to be an Achilles tear.
But Thompson was still with the team as often as his rehab allowed him to, and he seems to be more than appreciated by every single one on the team.
Now, Thompson’s return seems around the corner. Additionally to various reports of a Klay Thompson comeback before Christmas, Thompson has been cleared to go 100 percent and has started practicing with the Warriors’ G League affiliate in Santa Cruz.
According to head coach Seth Cooper, Klay is already back to his normal ways, as he drained his first 18 shots in practice.
“He’s cleared for full go, so everything we did was full 100 percent he was going. There was no holding him back. There was no pulling back, it was just letting him go and letting him experience playing all out. He did that, and he looked really good doing it… I think he made his first 18 shots.”

More so, in his first 5 on 5 scrimmage, Klay also hit the game-winning three.
