Nets Legend Kerry Kittles Says Nets Need Kyrie Irving To Win A Championship
Kyrie Irving’s vaccination status continues to be one of the biggest storylines this season. The controversial Brooklyn Nets star chooses not to get vaccinated and now has to live with the consequences of that choice.
Irving is ineligible to play home games due to New York City’s vaccine mandate. On top of that, per NBA’s mandate, Irving will not be paid for any games that he misses as a result of refusing to take the COVID-19 vaccine.
The Nets then even explained that they’ll sit Irving in all the other games as well. Additionally Kyrie won’t practice with the team until he’s eligible to play in every game.
During an appearance on Bally Sports, Nets legend Kerry Kittles now spoke out, what many Nets fans, and NBA fans in general think – the Brooklyn Nets won’t be able to win a a championship without Kyrie Irving’s help:
“No they need Kyrie, they definitely need Kyrie. I just think it just puts too much pressure on those two guys. I think in this era nowadays you need three stars, you definitely need three high caliber players that can control the game with the ball in their hands.”
