Steve Kerr Compares Stephen Curry To Michael Jordan
Steve Kerr Sees Similarities Between Stephen Curry And Michael Jordan
Stephen Curry has been approaching every game of the season in MVP form, averaging 27.7 points, 5.6 rebounds and 6.5 assists on 43.9% shooting from the field. The Golden State Warriors have also rattled off 20 wins with only four losses so far this season, and that is, in large parts, thanks to him.
Much has been said about how sensational Curry has been this season, or even over the course of his career in general. For Warriors head coach Steve Kerr, the 33-year old Warriors superstar reminds him a lot of Michael Jordan.
The two players have different types of leadership, style of play and demeanor, and the widely-regarded GOAT is certainly on a league of his own. But, Kerr, who played with Jordan as a member of the Chicago Bulls, noted how Curry and Jordan are similar in a lot of ways.
“I think Steph in a lot of ways is like Michael Jordan because there are so many moments that stand out that they all kind of bleed together. … Maybe that’s the true sign of greatness.”
