Kyrie Irving Throws Shade At Giannis Antetokounmpo For Injuring Him In 2021 Playoffs
When the Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks met in the second round of last year’s NBA playoffs, many thought that untimely Eastern Finals already.
And the series did not disappoint. The Nets were a shoe size away from reaching the conference Finals, but eventually fell short in seven games.
Nets star point guard Kyrie Irving however, wasn’t able to help his team in the deciding games, after suffering an ankle injury in game 4.
After yesterday’s loss against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Kyrie Irving commented on the injury he suffered in the playoffs and threw shade at Giannis Antetokounmpo, implying that he left his foot under him on purpose.
“In the playoffs last year, James [Harden] goes out… and then, I’m going up for a shot and Giannis comes over and his foot just happens to be in the way?!”
