7 Years Ago Today, Klay Thompson Had His INSANE NBA Record 37-Point 3rd Quarter

While Klay Thompson is slowly and steadily working to get back into form after his long-awaited comeback, one of his greatest shooting nights is celebrating its anniversary.

Seven years ago today, the Golden State Warriors superstar scored 52 points in a 126-101 win over the Sacramento Kings.

In this win however, Thompson set an NBA record for points in a quarter by scoring 37 in the third. It broke the record of 33 points previously held by George Gervin and Carmelo Anthony.
