Zach Lavine Surprises Bulls By Announcing DeMar DeRozan’s All-Star Selection On The Team Plane’s Intercom
Before the season, DeMar DeRozan was seen as the worst off-season acquisition in the entire NBA by Bleacher Report. They saw the 32-year-old as a ‘poor fit with his new club and limited in worrisome ways for someone aging past his prime’.
Oh boy were they wrong. The Chicago Bulls currently own the number two seed in the Eastern Conference and DeMar DeRozan not only has played like an absolute superstar, but also like a serious MVP candidate this season.
Then, last night, DeRozan was rightfully revealed as one of the All-Star starters for this year’s All-Star Game in Cleveland. His teammate, Zach LaVine first received the news, and surprised DeMar and the rest of the Chicago Bulls squad with an announcement via the intercom of the team plane.
