Draymond Green Still Hasn’t Stopped Bullying Rudy Gobert For All-Star Snub Tears
In 2018 and 2019, it was Groundhog Day for Rudy Robert, as he was the league’s biggest All-Star snub in consecutive years.
The voting wasn’t in favor of the French center, even though he would definitely have deserved to be an All-Star.
Back then, Gobert reacted very emotionally, and even was brought to tears when speaking about his snub.
Rudy grew increasingly emotional speaking with the media about his All-Star snub. Said his mom called him crying. Said he wrote and deleted several messages on social media. Finally, he grew too emotional to speak, and walked off, wiping away tears. pic.twitter.com/UkFX2nUrt8

This then led to Draymond Green (and others) mocking Gobert for his tears.
I guess I should cry too… no Charlotte?

But even though Gobert has made the All-Star team every year since, and rightfully so, when he was announced as one of the 2022 All-Star Game western reserves, Draymond Green, who also was selected but won’t play due to his injury, went back to his old mocking habits.
“It has to be Rudy. The man cried on national television when he didn’t make the All-Star team. Thank God he’s made the next three.”
