Julius Randle’s Heated Exchange With Reporter Regarding Trade Rumors

After a career year last season, Julius Randle has come back to earth in the current one. Randle has had trouble shooting the basketball all season long, hitting only 41.4% from his field goal attempts.

This also is one of the reasons, why the Knicks have struggled this season, after making the playoffs for the first time since 2013 last year.

On top of all that, Randle has been engaged in a lot of fights, fights against fans, thee media, and himself.

This has led to some rumors about the Knicks possibly looking to trade their big man. Brian Windhorst said on his podcast:

“This has been reported elsewhere, but I’ve heard as well that the Knicks have shown some interest in De’Aaron Fox. The player that makes the most sense in that swap is Julius Randle.”

This led to Randle being confronted with these rumors by Marc Bergman. But Randle wasn’t having it and fired back at the reporter, repeatedly firing back at him:

Bergman: “The trade deadline is coming up and your name is coming up.”

Julius Randle: “Who reported it?”

Bergman: “I mean, it’s been out there.”

Randel: “Who reported it?”
