Mavs-Sixers Game Had 40+Min Delay Due To Broken Basket, Despite Boban’s Attempt To Fix It

When Luka Doncic attempted and made a three point shot in the first quarter of the Dallas Mavericks’ 107-98 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers, he recognized that the rim wasn’t leveled and somewhat broken.

This led to a lengthy delay, that lasted over 40 minutes on the nationally televised matchup between the two teams.

Even the Mavs’ 7-foot-4 center Boban Marjanovic wasn’t able to fix the rim, even though he walked out on the court, grabbed the rim and gave it a few hard shakes. His effort wasn’t rewarded, as the entire basket needed to be replaced.

Definitely something you won’t see every day.

After the game, in which Luka Doncic had a brilliant 33 point, 13 rebound, 15 assist triple double, he apologized to everyone watching at home for the lengthy delay, that his eagle eye caused.
