Kevin Durant’s Mother Wanda Goes At ‘Limited Thinking’ Stephen A. Over Questionable KD Statement
The Brooklyn Nets have seriously struggled in these past weeks, and especially ever since Kevin Durant went down with an injury.
The Nets have lost eight consecutive games and dropped all the way to seventh, in the Eastern Conference standings. This paired with trade rumors surrounding James Harden, and Kyrie Irving’s 50% availability, makes it seem hard to believe that the Nets actually are the contender they’re aspired to be before the start of the season.
This has obviously led to lots of criticism by the media. Stephen A. Smith for example has spun a different narrative when it comes to the Nets’ struggles. Smith said that if the Nets won’t end up as NBA champions this year, Durant will be remembered as the guy who left Stephen Curry for Kyrie Irving.
“If [the Nets] do not win a championship. … Kevin Durant is on the verge for being recognized more so for the guy that left Steph Curry to go with Kyrie Irving, than he is for the two chips and two finals MVP.”

This statement led to Kevin Durant’s mother Wanda, you know, the real MVP, to fire back at Smith. She isn’t a fan of the ‘negative narrative baiting’ comments, and definitely got a point.
@stephenasmith you at it again with your limited-thinking-negative-narrative-baiting-comments; when will you show up better? More importantly, when will we grow tired of this foolishness?
