Klay Thompson’s Unreal NBA Record 37-Point 3rd Quarter

In honor of Klay Thompson’s birthday today, let’s take a look back to one of his greatest shooting nights.

On January 23, 2015 the Golden State Warriors superstar scored 52 points in a 126-101 win over the Sacramento Kings.

In this win however, Thompson, who is slowly and steadily working to get back into form after his long-awaited comeback, set an NBA record for points in a quarter by scoring 37 in the third. It broke the record of 33 points previously held by George Gervin and Carmelo Anthony.
