LeBron James Expresses That He Hasn’t Ruled Out A Potential Return To The Cleveland Cavaliers
LeBron James left the Cleveland Cavaliers for the second time in the summer of 2018, fresh off coming up short against the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals. He then opted to move to the Los Angeles Lakers, where he eventually won his fourth NBA championship.
Not too long ago, LeBron, who is under contract with the Lakers through the 2022-23 NBA season, expressed that he wanted to finish his career with the team. While that gives Lakers fans a bit of reassurance, it looks like their high-profile superstar has another back-up plan in mind.
Currently staying in Cleveland for the NBA All-Star weekend, LeBron expressed that he hasn’t ruled out a potential comeback to the Cavaliers, who are now making a statement in the NBA, with young guns like Darius Garland, Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen leading their squad.
Per The Athletic:
“The door’s not closed on that. I’m not saying I’m coming back and playing, I don’t know. I don’t know what my future holds. I don’t even know when I’m free.”
