The Cleveland Cavaliers May Not Be Interested In Bringing Back LeBron James, Per Marc Stein

The Cleveland Cavaliers have had their future tied into the hands of LeBron James twice. The first time may have ended in a tumultuous way, but the latter led to four straight NBA Finals appearance and one NBA championship before another breakup.

Now, speculations have grown in recent days that LeBron may be willing to go back to the Cavaliers, as the Los Angeles Lakers superstar has recently expressed that he hasn’t closed the door for a potential return.

But while LeBron might entertain the possibility of coming back to his first team, NBA veteran reporter Marc Stein suggested that the Cavaliers don’t appear as an interested suitor for the 37-year old superstar.

Per Stein’s Substack:

“In conversations that I’ve had with people in Cleveland, I think it’s just assumed that the Cavs would jump at the chance to get LeBron back. And I really don’t think that’s the case.”
