Draymond Green Says He Will Skip Warriors Game Just To Watch LeBron James Pass Kareem Abdul-Jabbar On NBA All-Time Scoring List

LeBron James has been on a scoring barrage as of late as he continues to chase Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the first spot on the NBA all-time scoring list. This season, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar is leading the league in points per game with 30.0 points to go along with 52.3% shooting from the field.

LeBron recently moved up to second on the league’s all-time scoring list, passing Utah Jazz Hall of Famer Karl Malone in the process. As of this writing, the dominant 37-year old forward has now registered 36,985 points in his career.

There’s a great chance that LeBron passes Kareem as the NBA’s all-time scoring leader next season, and when that opportunity comes, expect Golden State Warriors defensive big man Draymond Green to watch that incredible history unfold.

Although they have clashed several times, Draymond has never hid his admiration and appreciation for the four-time NBA champion. Appearing on his own podcast, the three-time Warriors All-Star said that he will intentionally skip a Warriors game (if necessary) just to watch LeBron passes Kareem.

“Congrats to LeBron, second all-time… 50 or 70 more games, he’ll be first all-time. I can’t wait to see that… Steve Kerr, I’m throwing this out right now, LeBron James is passing the all-time scoring record and we have a game, I’m going to LeBron’s game and witness history, So that’s what we doing coach Kerr.”
