Klay Thompson Says While He’s Not There Yet, He’ll Soon Be On The Level He Wants To Be At Again
Klay Thompson is slowly and steadily getting back into form after his long-awaited comeback earlier this season.
After working his way back following the torn ACL he suffered during the 2019 NBA Finals, Klay Thompson received another devastating blow, when an injury he suffered in last year’s offseason turned out to be an Achilles tear.
But as mentioned, Klay is heating up as of late and has looked more and more like his old self. In the win against the Utah Jazz last night, Thompson scored 36 points, while making 8 threes and playing some stellar defense.
After the game, the Warriors sharpshooter revealed that while he’s not there yet, he’ll reach the level he wants to be at again in the near future.
“I will get to the level I want to be at again. I’m not there yet, but it’s in sight.”

His 36-point explosion was Thompson’s fourth 30-point game since returning from injury. Through 30 played games in his comeback season, Thompson is averaging 19.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.7 assists.
